I've been involved in many interesting projects during my career at Plowman Craven. Everything starts when project lands in my hands.
I am passionate about going above and beyond to beat deadlines and delivering work at the standard Plowman Craven prides itself on.
It’s all about finding the best and most efficient approach whilst providing a clear deliverable for the client.
I oversee everything on a daily basis. I'm the main port of call for the client so a clear understanding and project knowledge is paramount.
Knowing you’ve been involved in a project from the very start and then delivering the final finished report to the client at the end is extremely satisfying.
You could say that surveying runs in the family as my Mum was a cartographer. Strangely enough, she worked at the company where Mr Plowman and Mr Craven worked before setting up Plowman Craven.
Best thing about working here? The company allows you to develop and learn new skills whilst trusting you to just get on with what you are supposed to be doing. It’s just the right blend of guidance and autonomy.
With a degree in Biology and a Masters in Environmental Control, I have always had a passion for nature, conservation and the environment. My role allows me to get involved in these fields whilst supporting sustainable development.
For me it’s all about trying to save lives. If we get something wrong and somebody hits a power cable the results can be life-changing, if not worse. My No.1 priority is the person stood on the ground with a PDF print out and a pick axe in their hand.
I enjoy the feeling of not being just another employee – but actually being valued. The staff are all very approachable, we all get on well and it's a really relaxed working environment.
