3D Modelling
Plowman Craven is at the forefront of promoting the delivery of measurement information in 3D.
Whether the information is from standard 2D plans or utilising 3D laser scanning technology, our experienced team at Plowman Craven can configure the resulting data into a comprehensive 3D model.
These models can be produced in a variety of formats:
- 3D Wireframe - all surfaces are visibly outlined in lines
- Solid Model - application of solid objects to represent a realistic representation of real life objects and features
- Photo Model - photos are rectified in elevation and are combined in CAD to form a 3D model
- Surface Model - surface models employ surfaces constructed across the wireframe to represent a "skin" that can be rendered
- Parametric Model - A BIM deliverable such as Revit
Plowman Craven also has the ability to use these models for many different applications including:
- Flythrough visualisations
- High quality stills
- Interactive animations
