Monitoring Project Manager - Hybrid/London-based

Plowman Craven are one of the largest surveying and specialist measurement companies in the UK. We work on huge exclusive projects across the country, our offices are based in Harpenden and London.

An opportunity has arisen for you to join our team of Monitoring Project Managers. The current team specialises in overseeing anything from rail infrastructure, archways to buildings. The surveying team use modern equipment to measure and track the movements and will be your job to ensure the project runs smoothly and within budget.

Your key responsibilities:

• Once assigned to a project, you will take full responsibility for the client requirements and handle the monitoring project end-to-end.
• You will need an understanding of engineering, monitoring or similar in order to be successful in this role.
• You will craft detailed project plans, ensuring all areas of the project are covered and realise any potential hazards early on to avoid overspend.
• You will coordinate with the surveyors appointed to plan and execute the project to a high-quality standard using advanced technologies and methodologies.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficiency and meet client requirements to ensure clarity throughout.
• Analysing data along the way to identify areas of risk or issues to the timeline and develop appropriate strategies.
• Regular looking into the details of the projects to find further efficiencies that will boost revenues for the client and company.
• You will have regular communication with the clients both via email and face-to-face, stakeholders, and authorities ensuring compliance is met and concerns mitigated.
• No two projects are identical, you will often deliver compelling presentations and offer technical support, guiding clients through even the most complex monitoring projects.
• Foster a collaborative environment with your fellow PMs and improve efficiencies where possible.
• Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, to streamline project management processes and drive efficiency.
