Land Surveyor

JOIN US: LAND SURVEYOR
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our North American team supporting nationwide projects working with the latest technological advancements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform precise land surveys using Total Station and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) to calculate robust survey control networks. Conduct survey observations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
- Work within the survey control network to provide accurate control points for laser scanning activities. Ensure all control points are meticulously placed and verified.
- Undertake both tripod-mounted and mobile mapping laser scanning operations. Focus on large industrial facilities, ensuring comprehensive data collection and registration.
- Stake out high-accuracy points with precision, ensuring alignment with project specifications and tolerances.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic information and survey data. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to process and present data effectively.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of surveying accuracy and consistency. Prepare detailed survey reports and documentation to support project needs.
- Coordinate fieldwork activities, including site visits, equipment setup, and data collection. Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Provide technical support to project teams, ensuring all surveying activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to integrate survey results into project plans. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Maintain a high level of detail consciousness in all aspects of work, from data collection to final reporting. Ensure the accuracy and precision of all survey outputs.
- Stay updated with the latest surveying technologies and methodologies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land surveying.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Certified Survey Technician certification preferred.
- Clean Driving License.
- Proficient in using surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, drones) and software (AutoCAD, GIS).
- Willingness to travel and work in various field conditions.
- Strong analytical skills and diligence to ensure data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
