The Surveying Data Collector role based in our client specific project team, requires someone with a strong desire to pursue a career within the surveying industry. Inhouse training will be provide as well as the opportunity to undertake further industry related qualifications.

Role Specification

  • You will join a team of data collectors in the Property Management team working for a specific client project ensuring data collection and data processing are completed in line with the company standards.
  • You are required to proactively take responsibility to learn survey theory and practises, new techniques and learn about new instruments, in order to embark on a career in surveying.
  • Data management and the requirement to follow protocol is essential part of this role; strict adherence will be required to maintain productivity.
  • Communication and problem solving is a required key skill in our fast-paced surveying industry.
  • You will have the ability to engage with stakeholders on a daily basis diplomatic fashion including site owners.
  • Health & Safety is one of Plowman Craven’s key KPIs; it is therefore essential for you to adhere to Plowman Craven policies related to our work practises and health and safety; especially those related to COVID-19 risk assessments.
  • To undertake all other reasonable tasks as requested.

Person Specification

  • A related education qualification background or work experience would be advantageous.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a true passion to build a surveying career.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team working, a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential to this role.
  • Time keeping skills are critical.
  • Ability to respond positively and promptly to issues.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within remit.
  • Robust approach to following process.
  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is critical.
