The Junior Surveyor (Data collector) role based in our Property Management team, requires someone with a strong desire to pursue a career within the surveying industry. Training inhouse will be provided as well as the opportunity to undertake further industry related qualifications

Role Specification

  • You will join a growing team of data collectors in the Property Management Team; ensuring data collection and data processing are completed in line with all company standards.
  • You are required to pro-actively take responsibility to learn survey theory and practice, new techniques and about new instruments, in order to embark on a career as a professional surveyor.
  • Data Management & the requirement to follow protocol is an essential part of this role. Strict adherence will be required.
  • Communication & Problem Solving is a required key skill in our fast-paced surveying industry.
  • You will have the ability to engage with stakeholders on a daily basis in a diplomatic fashion
  • Health & Safety is one of Plowman Craven’s key KPI’s; it is therefore essential for you to adhere to PCL’s H&S policy
  • You will be required to work across UK
  • To undertake all other reasonable tasks as requested.

Person Specifcation

  • A related educational background or work experience would be advantageous.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a true passion to build a career in surveying.
  • Time keeping skills are essential
  • Ability to respond positively and promptly to issues
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within remit
  • Robust approach to following process
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team working, a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential to this role.
