Lease Plan and Boundary Surveys
The production of lease plans, and indeed other property title plans, has been a service regularly provided by Plowman Craven to many commercial property clients since the 2002 Land Registration Act came into force. Our area referencing work often now triggers the need for associated Land Registry compliant lease plans, so that we can complete all necessary property survey works for both aspects in one site visit.
Even if not commissioned together, we have a nationwide pool of skilled surveyors to be able to react both speedily and effectively to lease plan production commissions. Our measured building survey experience coupled with a close working relationship with the Land Registry has facilitated the production of lease plans across the entire spectrum of property types, including; offices, retail units, industrial warehouses and residential tenancies.
Over time, we have understandably built up a considerable archive of surveyed properties and this can generate in some cases economies of time and cost for plan production and supply. As a chartered survey company regulated by RICS, we can offer professional expertise in the survey and reporting of property boundaries. We promote this type of survey work to our clients more as a means of dispute avoidance wherever possible, but should it be necessary we can also offer our services in dispute resolution proceedings.
