BIM Asset Management
The BIM model, as it goes through the design and construction process, contains a rich database of information that Facility Managers need in order to manage that asset.
Plowman Craven can help prepare and continually maintain the model throughout the life of the building. Our experience with computer aided facilities management tools, such as Archibus, enables us to accompany the client through a gradual process of BIM adoption and maintenance.
Utilising existing CAD information or 'as-built' data capture with laser scanners, the model can be continually built up or enhanced which allows all stakeholders to be working with accurate 'up to date' information and, in turn, drive down costs.
