Racing Team Profiles

Plowman Craven has for the past 3 years sponsored Tony Gibb, with great success. As a solo sponsored rider Tony has gained medals at National, Commonwealth and World Championships.

2006 will see Plowman Craven expanding their sponsorship, joined in the venture by Leica Geosystems and Yellow Ltd., backing a team of 7 riders - blending together a mixture of youth and experience to build for the future.

Joining the team as our stars for the future are Adam Norris and Tom Smith – both current or former age category National Champions. Helping to fast-track them to success are close friends of Tony Gibb’s; multi-National champion James Taylor plus Wesley Cole and Craig Butland from South Africa. The final piece of the jigsaw comes with immeasurable experience in the person of ex-Tour de France rider Malcolm Elliott.

The team will be aiming to be successful at various season long National Series competitions and selected National Championships on both the road and track.

Each one of the team is a winner by nature but all are totally committed to the team and have, along with Simon Barnes, put together a team ethos of honesty, success and setting the highest standards to reflect the aims and ambitions of Plowman Craven, Leica Geosystems, Opera, Rudy Project and Teknofuel.
