James lives in Bristol and has been racing
for over 15 years. He is a qualified coach and works within the
sport helping to develop talented youngsters for British Cycling.
Small and agile on a bike but with incredible
sprinting speed makes James an excellent foil to the teams ‘power’
sprinters. James is another who brings massive experience to the
Plowman Craven team having represented Great Britain on both road
and track and for this reason is the team’s Captain.
James won runner-up in last season’s
National Circuit Race Series but is aiming to go one better this
year with the teams’ support. He has been National Champion
25 times so far in his career – 4 of these being when partnered
with Tony Gibb in the Madison. James is another in the team who
has raced around the world and has spent several seasons based successfully
in America - twice winning their prestigious Greenville Spring Series. |
