Net Internal Area (NIA) with Duty of Care
Net Internal Area (NIA) is defined
as the usable floor area within a building inside the
internal face of perimeter walls, but with certain specified
areas excluded from overall gross extents. Assessed
and quoted for all building levels, NIA is the basis
of measurement for valuation, marketing, and property
rating.
All parties are offered a Duty-of-Care, which confirms both our independent reporting and that the measurement can be relied upon. Each project is then archived for possible future use where the Duty-of-Care can be assigned to further parties.
