CCTV Analysis
CCTV footage does not always clear up the questions that need to be asked. Neither does the position and focal length of the camera always clearly convey distances covered by those involved at the scene. Movements of individuals/vehicles can be lost throughout a complete sequence - CCTV footage alone cannot be fully relied upon when analysing body movements and actions of those in view.
By combining captured CCTV imagery with additional scanned data collected at the scene, Plowman Craven can help bring clarity and measurements to the CCTV footage. We are able to extract accurate measurements from anywhere within the CCTV footage and, as a result, assist in confirming positions and movements.
During analysis, CCTV footage can be successfully combined with that of accurate 3D models to provide alternative visual angles including witness viewpoints in a sequence of events. This enables the incident to be viewed from various angles to determine what may have happened in the lost time lapse imagery.
