Continued improvement and upgrade of transportation infrastructure remains a key focus and a necessity for the UK. A particular spotlight has been to improve the aging UK railway network in areas such as increased capacity, reduction of journey times and installing new lines on both overground and underground networks.
The success of large scale projects such as the 2012 Olympic Games and Thames Gateway are hinged on the foundations of exceptional transportation links. New or upgraded transportation hubs can in themselves provide the ignition to kick start large scale needed regenerations such as Kings Cross & St Pancras Stations.
